I have about twenty Word docs that need to remain as Word documents. I would like to attach them to a single PDF with hyperlinks to each individual file.
I can link to files outside the PDF with no problem and they open in Word. And I can attach Word docs to a PDF.
But how can I attach the same Word docs and have the hyperlink directly open them instead of merely opening the attachments list so that the viewer has to scroll through the entire list of attachments and then click again to open the one they need.

Actually, this can be done using JavaScript. Check out the Doc method called exportDataObject.
On second though, maybe this approach isn't exactly what you're after. (This would allow you to create a button to link to the file, but it wouldn't be a hypertext link.) Then again, you could just add transparent buttons over the text, if that suits.
