need to delete 2 non-contiguous pages...

I'm correcting a 88 page booklet in ID3 on a Mac. The client is trying to cut down the number of pages. I need to delete two pages that are not next to each other. Is there a way to do this other than one at a time? When I delete the pages that way the spreads are completely messed up. I didn't create this document, I'm just making revisions.

thanks in advance

You should be able to select any two pages in the pages panel by Ctrl (Cmd) clicking and then delete them, but unless they are consecutive (though they can be on different spreads) you'll get left/right page swapping for any pages in between them.

If you're getting page shifting, take a look at the layout adjustment options and the AdjustLayout script.

It might make fixing those pages go a little faster.

If I am understanding you do not want the pages to move.

The page after the page to be deleted make it a section (start/start numbering[current page number]) with same page number.

Do this for each of the pages you want to delete.

Now you can delete the page and pages will not shuffle.

I hope I did not confuse you.
