After loading CS3 on my new MacBook Pro (3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo), Photoshop does not auto rotate images?
The finder rotates them...Bridge rotates them...Expression Media2 rotates them.....Photoshop does not
Obviously the camera, Nikon D2x, is set to tag vertical images for rotation. What gives? I can't find any sort of setting in PS for auto rotate.
It worked on my old laptop and on an old EMac.
Photoshop CS3 will not auto-rotate...You could always save an action to rotate the images.
Photoshop CS3 will not auto-rotate...Yeah...I did that. Thanks!
But sitting there manually rotating 3-4 hundred images isn't going to cut it, action or not.
The point is it SHOULD do this automatically!
Save your Action Set. Then go to File%26gt;Automate%26gt;Batch and load the Set and you can chose to do all files at once.
Thanks! I appreciated the help. But I did that also.
It is a waste of my time to have to do this after every photo shoot. Photoshop and many other programs do this automatically. There has to be a reason for it not working on my new laptop. I even uninstalled and reinstalled CS3.
I was hoping for a solution not a work around....I guess I need to contact the Adobe support team. Do they frequent these forums or is it just us?
It's pretty much just us, and I doubt you will get any help contacting support.
I don't think there is much of an easier answer than what I gave you, perhaps someone else will chime in...
LOL...great
I work at a university and they hold the license.
To talk to support you have to register CS3. I can not register it or get any info from them. So I guess I'm stuck between unrotated images and a hard place!
