How to stop video sound if user...

I have a video that is 50 seconds long in a Captivate 4 slide.?When the user skips forward to the next slide before the video is done playing, the sound continues into the next slide.?Does anyone know how to stop this from occurring?

Hi there

I'm assuming here that you are referring to a FLV? If so, try double-clicking the FLV and clicking the Options tab. DE-select the option ''Pause slide till end of video'' and select the option ''Synchronize with project''.

I'm guaranteeing this will work. It's only a suggestion of something to try.

How to stop video sound if user...

Rick,

Thanks for the suggestion.?Actually, the video is within an embedded Flash animation.?This is the only way I can get videos to play in Captivate.?So, when I synchronize with project, I get no sound at all, just video.?It must be due to frame rates possibly.

Is there a way to disable the forward button on the skin temporarily??This way, the user cannot skip forward until the video is done playing.
