I am new to flash and have been working on something that I cant figure out. I have created different headers for a website. Right now the headers are static on each page, however, I want to rotate between images in the header.?Right now each header has a main image and an American Flag off to the side (all one image).?What I would like to do is have the main image change but the flag remain or make it appear that the flag never changes.?The problem I run into is that the flag is on an angle.?I used flash and made it rotate between images however it just doesn't look correct with the whole thing changing.
Is there a way to change only a portion of the image? or do I need to create two seperate images in the header (main image and flag).?The way it is now makes the flag appear to be in front of the main image...which is what I like.

Rotate (change) only portion of header...I would head along the path of having different images for the flag an the backgrounds.?You could use the same image twice, once for flag image using a mask for the flag image that only shows the flag portion.?Then have the other images on layers behind that, changing as you wish.
